HOW TO USE ON A GAS GRILL

1. Remove provided Smoker Box from package.

2. Remove lid from Smoker Box.

3. Remove hanger and set aside unless your grill has a stainless steel cooking grate. If this is the case, please see below on how to use the hanger with a stainless steel cooking grate.

4. Fill 2/3 full with provided hardwood chips.

5. Replace lid, pressing firmly down.

6. Secure Smoker Box magnetically under grate and over burner.

7. Fire up the grill!

8. Once smoke develops, place food around (not over) Smoker Box and close lid.

9. Closing grill lid will enable the wood-fired flavors to infuse foods for 10-30 minutes depending on grilling temperature.

 

HOW TO USE ON A GAS GRILL
W/ STAINLESS COOKING GRATE

1. Use provided stainless steel hanger.

2. Place hanger over grate and attach Smoker Box with magnet underneath cooking grate.

3. Suspending Smoker Box under grate and over burner.

TIPS

  • Using indirect heat method maximizes smoke penetration.
  • Place smoker box on one side of the grill with heat and food over other section with low or no heat.
  • Once smoking is complete, place food on grill as you typically do and complete grilling cycle.

 

HOW TO USE ON A CHARCOAL GRILL

Once charcoal is white, follow steps 1 – 5 placing smoker box magnetically under cooking grate and over white charcoal.  Once smoking, place food around (not over) smoker box and close lid.  

For best results, place directly on charcoal and use indirect heat with smoker box over higher heat and food over little or no heat,
